Job Description
My client is currently looking for a Senior Hydraulics Engineer to be based in Manchester or Teesside.
Negotiable Rates - OUTSIDE IR35

* Experience in hydraulics, surge analysis and design for water and wastewater transmission, treatment and collection/distribution systems from feasibility through to detailed design, construction and commissioning support.
* Be assertive, collaborative and curious, paying attention to relevant detail.
* Be able to apply critical thinking to problem solving.
Type of candidate
1. A degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
2. Membership or working towards membership of a relevant professional chartered institute.
3. Have UK project experience with a working knowledge of current UK regulations and design codes for H&S, environmental and engineering aspects.
4. Experience in thermofluids, network flows and hydraulic modelling.
5. Experience with using HADES for steady state hydraulics.
6. Proficient with Microsoft Office (in Windows 10/11, particularly Excel & Word).
7. Some understanding of CFD, physical modelling and other relevant technical disciplines such as Civil and MEICA.
8. Strong communication skills including delivering presentations to both internal and external senior business leaders and clients.<...
