We are looking for an experienced UK Sales Manager (hybrid working) focused on our trade clients (resellers) who has the ability to commute to central London 2x a week to meet with prospective clients (our showroom is based near Farringdon station).
What you'll be doing:
Outbound Sales:
* Reach out to prospective trade clients via various channels, introducing our phone booths and meeting pods
* Set up meetings at our London showroom and convert leads to sales
* Visit prospective trade clients where needed
Inbound Sales:
* Respond to and convert trade inquiries coming in via our website
Key Account Management:
* Foster and maintain relationships with existing trade clients
Trade fairs:
* Liaise with UK trade fairs, lead the organisation and represent our brand during the fairs
Marketing:
* Work with our Marketing Manager to implement Marketing campaigns in the UK
Your qualifications:
* You have 5+ years of Sales experience, ideally in a B2B setting (big plus if you have experience in the office furniture industry or related sectors)
* You work independently with little oversight
* You are fluent in English (big plus if you speak any other European language)
* You have excellent written and oral communication skills
* You possess strong attention to detail and the ability to follow elaborate CRM processes (HubSpot)
* Cultural fit: You are driven and able to deliver results. At the same time, we're looking for someone who is empathetic, cooperative and lends a helping hand.
What you need to know:
* This is a hybrid role – as mentioned, you will need to travel to our London showroom up to 2x per week to meet prospective clients. Our London showroom is based near Farringdon station. The other 3 days of the week you can work from wherever you like.
* We meet 2x a year somewhere in Europe for our company offsite - the most recent meetup was in Valencia (Spain). Other meeting locations have included London, Lisbon, Naples, Thessaloniki, Sofia and Varna.
* Reporting: You will report to the European Sales Director (currently one of the Co-founders on an interim basis)
* Sustainability 🌱: This topic is very important to us. For every phone booth sold, we plant 15 trees in Madagascar (see www.ecologi.com/meavo) and donate 2 solar lamps to families in Zambia. In addition, the acoustic panels of one of our phone booths contain over 800 recycled plastic bottles. We are proud to have been awarded the EcoVadis Gold medal (top 5% of assessed companies).
