Responsibilities
Salary: £42,224 plus company car and excellent benefits.
Hours: 39 per week. Shift pattern: typically Monday to Friday; flexibility required to meet different shift patterns and weekends for project work. Home-based: travel throughout the UK is required as part of this role.
You will work closely with the Warehouse and Sales Teams Managers to identify and deliver change programmes that improve efficiencies and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Continuous Improvement & Projects Manager, you will deliver key initiatives across the national depot network, participate in project scoping and planning, gather and analyse information to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and efficiently with cost in mind. You will ensure projects are planned and implemented with end-user acceptance testing, analyse and resolve any challenges, and seek improvements to processes and the customer experience. You will be able to see the big picture, identify patterns or trends, and influence across functional teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills while staying results-focused and adapting priorities as needed.
You will coordinate your own diary and have flexibility to work from home, but you are expected to be available during critical operational hours, predominantly Monday–Friday, with some overnight stays and weekend coverage for project implementation work.
Requirements: You should have solid knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain and operational experience in a fast-paced warehousing operation, ideally within the FMCG sector. Experience implementing continuous improvement projects and knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and tools is preferred. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (MS Project and MS Visio), and knowledge of SAP or D365 ERP systems would be advantageous.
Qualifications
