Detailed job description and main responsibilities
1.1 Work alongside clinical colleagues across CMGs delivering research education, practice, and evidence-based practice in clinical care.
1.2 Take a lead role in facilitating and providing research education, professional practice, and expertise for staff within a defined clinical area.
1.3 Participate in developing, implementing, and delivering competency-based research practice education, supervision, and assessment of staff in the practice setting.
1.4 Contribute to trust-wide core training programs such as Preceptorship, registrant Induction, OSCE Programme, and Healthcare Support Worker Induction.
1.5 Promote high-quality clinical care and support the development and expansion of practice that meets service and user needs.
1.6 Support learners, supervisors, and assessors within the clinical area to enhance their research learning experience.
1.7 Contribute to the education and training of Healthcare Support Workers, recognizing their growing role in care delivery.
1.8 Maintain clinical credibility and visibility by working in the practice setting, supporting clinical colleagues and patient care as appropriate.
1.9 Contribute to the local implementation of UHL Induction and Study Leave Policies and the UHL Nursing, Midwifery, and AHP Strategy.
