Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Receptionist to oversee daily reception operations, ensure exceptional service, and support the Reception Manager. The role requires strong leadership and a passion for service in a restaurant or hotel setting.
Responsibilities
* Manage operations to deliver excellent guest and team experiences; lead, coach, and develop staff; adhere to budget guidelines.
* Ensure knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service excellence; work within operating hours, including weekends and holidays; contribute to reducing operational costs and enhancing employee retention.
* Schedule shifts; handle customer complaints and queries promptly and courteously; in the absence of the Reception Manager, lead the outlet, plan, and maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee dining operations with attention to quality and detail.
* Resolve conflicts effectively.
* Maintain high levels of customer service.
* Lead, train, and develop the team.
* Manage staffing within budget, including payroll scheduling.
* Drive sales to meet revenue targets.
* Motivate team members to maximize sales and revenue.
* Monitor guest satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement.
* Conduct communication meetings and record minutes.
* Participate in daily/weekly team meetings.
* Lead service in the General Manager’s absence.

Requirements
* Proven supervisory experience in hospitality or culinary industries, preferably in restaurants or hotels.
* Strong leadership and motivational skills.
* Knowledge of food production and kitchen operations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focused on customer service.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
