Supply Desk Ltd Level 3 Teaching Assistant for Nursery – Nursery Southampton Start Date: March 2026 Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent Salary: £14 – £16 per hour (Dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday Location: Southampton About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, forward‑thinking Nursery school within a Primary school. The Nursery provision is relatively new with 4 new classes for children aged 2-4 with new resources and experienced staff looking to increase their level 3 Nursery practitioners. This position is ideal for someone who brings patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills to their work. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting Nursery children in their first steps in education Providing 1:1 or small group support where required. Providing learning opportunities which are child led and inspire awe and wonder Able to use outdoor learning environments Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.
