Each person we support has different support needs, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Sally is registered blind so requires support with certain aspects of her personal care, medication and maintaining her home. Sally enjoys company but can also require alone time to read her books and complete tasks on her computer. Sally has no mobility issues but requires social support in the community. Sally enjoys visiting the local pub for lunch and is well known. Sally has support 7 days per week, in the morning and evening.
