As an Arcus Building Fabric Specialist, you'll work across multiple client sites in your area, ensuring facilities are safe, fully functional, and well‑maintained. This mobile role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to showcase your expertise across a range of building fabric tasks.
Responsibilities
* Deliver effective repairs and maintenance work to a high standard.
* Respond to reactive issues promptly and professionally.
* Maintain clear documentation using handheld IT systems.
* Support customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
* Work independently and in customer‑facing environments.
* Adhere to health & safety standards.
* Follow company procedures for on‑call rota and hours (40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday).
Qualifications
* NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications in a relevant trade.
* Valid UK driver’s licence.
* Confidence using handheld IT equipment for work management and documentation.
* Time‑served, hands‑on experience in multiple trades, ideally in a fabric maintenance role.
Desirable
* Experience in retail or multi‑site maintenance environments.
Core Trade Skills
* Patch plastering and rendering.
* Carpentry and joinery.
* Floor and wall coverings (tiling, vinyl, etc.).
* Basic plumbing.
* Changing locks and fittings.
* General fabric repairs.
