Job Overview
A great opportunity has arisen for a 3 day weekend Nanny for a welcoming but busy household in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.
The parents are busy professionals but are very relaxed, open and honest. They have two children under the age of 5 years. You will be required to have age appropriate experience and ideally have worked previously within a family environment with two children of a similar age. The eldest is a sociable and inquisitive girl who loves to be in nature, exploring bugs, snails and loves animals too. The youngest is delightful and loves to explore.
They would love a Nanny who can enjoy the countryside and natural environment with the children and can provide fun and stimulating activities outdoors and indoors. Both parents will be around so you will need to be comfortable with this and they do like to spend time with the children but also give the Nanny space to carry out their role.
The ideal candidate will be positive, calm, resilient, nurturing and compassionate who is easy going and happy to muck in with family life. Your duties will be all childcare related but they would appreciate someone who likes to keep a tidy and organised home and is happy to help with some laundry when needed. They employ a Nanny Monday-Thursday so someone who is happy to carry on the good routines already set up and work harmoniously and in sync with their current Nanny.
Position Details
* Permanent position
* Location: Near Stow on the Wold
* Start: Asap but can wait for the right person
* Days: Friday-Sunday or potentially Saturday-Monday
* Hours: 7am-7pm
* Qualification: Ideally a formal childcare qualification but this is not essential.
* Experience: At least 5 years as a Nanny
* Driver: Essential, car to use on duty
* Pets in the home: 1 dog (Daschund)
* Salary: £20 gross per hour
