Job Title: Radar Lead Engineer
Location: Warton
What you'll be doing:
* Maintain relationships with and manage Radar activities undertaken by our suppliers and partners.
* Develop the next generation of radar systems across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements and technology maturation to design, development, and implementation.
* Provide technical expertise, support, and/or lead radar development activities as part of a multi-functional engineering team.
* Lead and support a team of engineers; engage with international counterparts to develop the next generation of radar systems.
* Manage the creation of engineering documents that are part of the systems engineering process and contribute to engineering lifecycle reviews.
* Have people management responsibilities in this role.
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience working with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, preferably with radar systems.
* A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience.
* Experience in systems engineering and the engineering lifecycle.
* Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g., UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab).
* Experience working in an agile environment.
* Experience in the early phases of the engineering lifecycle.

Mission Systems Delivery Team:
This exciting role involves working in a fast-paced team on an advanced sensing system central to next-generation combat air systems. There are opportunities to work as part of a tri-national team, develop international relationships, and gain experience across cultures.
