Home-based with occasional travel to the office (once a week) and client meetings across the country.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with a focus on the aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, and medical sectors. You will create and execute sales strategies, build relationships with key decision-makers, and drive successful customer acquisition and new revenue generation.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target new customers and expand into new industry sectors.
Proactively build relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and networking.
Develop and qualify opportunities in target markets with support from the Head of Sales & Marketing.
Manage customer data effectively using CRM systems and provide accurate sales forecasting data.
Understand customer requirements and develop tailored key account development plans with SMART objectives.
Essential Sales Expertise: Proven experience in business development, preferably within the contract/service/on demand manufacturing sector, is crucial. Plastic/Additive Manufacturing services is a plus
Customer portfolio: experience dealing with customer in the manufacturing sector (Aerospace, Automotive, Healthcare, Energy, Oil and Gas)
Professional and capable customer interaction/engagement skills are paramount to building rapport, fostering trust, and securing new business opportunities.
