Role: Wills & Probate Solicitor
Experience: 3+ years PQE
Based: Hertford / Hybrid (3 days office)
Offer: Circa £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
A well-established regional law firm with a strong private wealth offering is looking to recruit a Wills, Trusts & Probate Solicitor into its team.
The firm has an excellent reputation across Hertfordshire, Essex and London and is known for its supportive culture, structured progression and genuine work/life balance.
This is a strong opportunity for a Private Client lawyer who wants to develop their career within a high-quality team handling a broad mix of work, including HNW estates and complex trust matters.
The Role
* Manage a caseload of wills, probate and estate administration matters
* Draft Wills, LPAs and Powers of Attorney across a range of complexity
* Handle probate files including taxable estates, IHT400s and reliefs
* Advise on and administer trusts (including life interest and discretionary trusts)
* Support business development and maintain strong client relationships
The Successful Candidate
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX/FILEX with 3+ years’ Private Client experience
* Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate and estate administration
* Experience with HNW estates and inheritance tax matters
* Trust experience desirable; STEP qualified or working towards preferred
* Proactive, personable and commercially aware with strong client care skills
