The Role
Do you have skills in bricklaying that you would like to pass onto the next generation? Do you have experience teaching Bricklaying in Further Education? We are looking to recruit a highly motivated lecturer to join our growing team. Our bricklaying department delivers City and Guilds accredited courses at levels 1 and 2 to full-time students. You will work with Senior Lecturers and the Head of Department to ensure our delivery is world class and that we produce work-ready students for employment or career progression. The role involves supporting a team developing a multimillion-pound retrofit centre for Sustainable Construction with a cutting-edge facility in Birmingham. It would be beneficial if you have an internal quality assurance qualification and experience of teaching bricklaying in an FE setting. We welcome applications for part-time or full-time contracts.

Responsibilities
* Deliver City and Guilds bricklaying courses (Levels 1 and 2) to full-time students in an FE setting.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Support delivery in a multimillion-pound retrofit centre for Sustainable Construction.
* Contribute to quality assurance processes and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience teaching bricklaying in Further Education.
* Strong industry knowledge and practical bricklaying skills.
* Internal quality assurance qualification is beneficial.
* Motivated to develop professionally and stay current with industry innovations.
