Residential ConveyancerLocation: Barnsley, South YorkshireSalary: £30,000 - £45,000We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established, client-focused legal practice in Barnsley that provides a full range of legal services to individuals and businesses across South Yorkshire and beyond. About the RoleAs a Residential Conveyancer, you will manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, delivering expert legal support to clients buying, selling and transferring property. You'll work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth, efficient and positive transaction experiences, from instruction through to completion.This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team, with hybrid working flexibility and a chance to develop your professional skills in a varied and rewarding environment. What You'll Be Doing
* Managing a personal caseload of residential property work, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals to progress matters effectively.
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, lease documentation and related conveyancing paperwork.
* Conducting property searches, reviewing title documents and resolving any issues that arise.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and firm standards throughout each transaction.
* Providing clear and proactive communication to clients at all stages of the process.
Who We're Looking ForYou will be:
* A qualified conveyancer, licensed conveyancer or solicitor with proven experience in residential property work.
* Passionate about delivering excellent client service and building strong professional relationships.
* Organised and able to manage a varied caseload with attention to detail.
* A clear communicator, able to explain legal concepts and progress updates in a client-friendly way.
* Comfortable working in an environment that balances independent case responsibility with team collaboration.
