Main duties of the job An opportunity has arisen to join the nursing team on our adult cardiac ward (E3 Blue). E3 is an adult cardiac ward with a specialist focus on cardiac surgery and therefore has strong links with the cardiac surgical team. What You’ll Do To be responsible for assisting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in the management of the ward/unit over a 24-hour period, ensuring high standards of care are maintained and available resources are utilised effectively. You will be assisting in the day-to-day management and organisation of E3 as required, demonstrating clinical expertise, and acting as a role model within the Cardiovascular & Thoracic setting.
