Were looking for passionate and practical Peatland Officers to join the PEAT+ Project.Led by Ulster Wildlife in collaboration with cross-border partners, PEAT+ aims to restore degraded peatlands, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance biodiversity while engaging local communities in nature-based solutions for a resilient future. As a Peatland Officer, youll be part of a dedicated restoration team delivering a pipeline of on-the-ground projects to improve the conservation status of key peatland sites, including: Frosses Bog ASSI, Springmount Bog, Slieveanorra and Croaghan ASSI, Carn/Glenshane ASSI, Teal Lough ASSI, Haugheys Bog, and Moneygal Bog ASSI. There are two roles available, one based in Belfast and one based in An Creagan, Omagh. These are full-time, fixed term posts to 31 March 2029.
