First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Marketing & Events Executive on behalf of one of our clients.
As a key member of the marketing team, you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager and responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage target audience and drive business growth.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Senior Marketing & Events Executive:
1. Manage and maintain the event schedule for the Company brand in UK and EMEA.
2. Working with colleagues to support the US event schedule.
3. Planning, marketing and organising events in predominantly the Military and First Responder industry.
4. Develop and implement marketing campaigns, both online and offline, to generate leads and revenue for the company.
5. Work as part of a team to develop and organise photo and video shoots.
6. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
7. Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, design) within the UK and US to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
8. Create and develop marketing collateral and branded goods.
9. Support Marketing and Product Development to ensure products are successfully brought to market.
10. Manage relationships with agencies and key stakeholders to create strong video and photography.
11. Responsible for managing event budgets.
12. Support the team with other activities tasks including exhibitions, events and admin.
Skills and Qualifications for the Senior Marketing & Events Executive:
13. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, events or related field.
14. Minimum of 2 years of experience in event marketing.
15. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
16. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage projects simultaneously.
17. Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box.
18. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
19. Can do and positive attitude when faced with challenges.
20. Experience working in an international environment across multiple time zones and cultures.
Desirable for the Senior Marketing & Events Executive:
21. Experience working with the Military industry.
22. Experience working with the First Responder industry.
Salary: £40,000 per annum
