About the role
We have an opportunity to join the Finance department as an Accounts Receivable Assistant at our Newcastle office. In this role, you will support the Accounts Receivable team with various financial duties to ensure efficient credit control procedures.
Key responsibilities
1. Balance sheet reconciliation
2. Using our financial systems
3. Monitoring incoming funds
4. Allocating funds
5. Communicating with debtors, members, brokers, and policyholders
6. Maintaining spreadsheets
7. Handling general queries
8. Covering other roles as needed
9. Supporting the operational team
10. Performing ad hoc administrative and financial tasks
11. Other duties as required
Candidate requirements
* Strong numerical skills
* Basic knowledge of MS Office
* IT literate and adaptable to new systems
* Accurate and prompt in responses
* Attention to detail in administration
* Excellent communication skills
* Minimum A level qualification
* At least 3 years of relevant work experience
