We re looking for a Maintenance Operative to join our Property & Facilities team, supporting multiple services across the region. You ll play a key part in ensuring our buildings are safe, compliant, and comfortable for the people we support. What you ll be doing Carrying out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance tasks (including plumbing, joinery, decoration, minor electrical work and general repairs) Completing fire safety, legionella and compliance checks to ensure our services meet legal standards Providing excellent customer service to Service and Operations Managers across the region Using our CAFM system to log, update and complete maintenance tasks Managing your workload independently and ensuring work is completed within agreed SLAs Ensuring van stock, materials and equipment are wellmanaged and costeffective Travelling between services, with occasional overnight stays where required What we re looking for Experience working as a Maintenance Operative/Handyperson, ideally in a multisite role General multitrade skills (e.g., plumbing, joinery, basic electrical tasks) Good understanding of compliance, Health & Safety, and safe working practices Confidence using IT systems (MS Office, CAFM or similar) Strong communication and problemsolving skills A positive, cando approach and the ability to work under pressure Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Desirable qualifications (Not essential training can be provided depending on experience) City & Guilds 2391 (Electrical Safety) Plumbing & Heating NVQ Level 2 Joinery NVQ Level 2 Legionella Awareness Certificate Why join us?
