Job Description
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm (Term Time Only)
Pay: £88.92 – £95 per day (dependent on experience)
Location: Cheshire East
Are you passionate about helping young people reach their potential? New Directions Education is looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join welcoming primary, secondary and specialist schools across Cheshire East. Whether you’re experienced in education or eager to begin your journey, this is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people every single day.
As an LSA, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils both in and out of the classroom. You’ll work 1:1 or with small groups, helping children with SEND or additional needs engage, learn and grow in confidence. You’ll support teachers by adapting resources, encouraging positive behaviour, and promoting independence. Every day will be different – from celebrating small successes to helping overcome learning challenges, you’ll be making an impact where it matters most.
We’re looking for people who are caring, adaptable and committed to helping pupils succeed. Experience in a school or childcare setting is an advantage, but not essential – what really matters is your energy, empathy and willingness to learn. Strong communication skills, teamwork and a genuine desire to see children thrive will help you excel in this role.
In return, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a range of friendly, inclusive schools where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values your contribution and helps you develop your skills along the way. With guidance and encouragement from New Directions Education, you’ll have the confidence to grow in your role and make a lasting difference in the classroom.
