This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the travel industry by joining our vibrant Sales Department. As an Apprentice Sales Support Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Sales Executives, delivering high-quality assistance, and providing outstanding customer service across all areas of the department. This role contributes to the smooth running of sales operations, helping to build strong relationships with trade accounts and ensuring the wider Sales team can focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
You’ll be part of a friendly and professional team passionate about travel, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in Customer Service, Administration, and Sales. This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships in a dynamic and supportive environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
1. Communicates confidently with both colleagues and customers
2. Is well-organised with strong attention to detail
3. Has a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning
This is an Apprenticeship; the successful candidate will work towards the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 qualification which has an estimated course duration of 15 months. This will be a work-based Apprenticeship, therefore there will be no requirement for a day release to college. You will have an allocated Assessor from an Apprenticeship training provider who will visit you in the workplace and provide 1-2-1 training, support, and guidance throughout the course.
This is a full-time position based at our Head Office (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL) Working 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday 9am-5pm) We are also proud to offer the successful candidate the unique and exciting opportunity of occasionally visiting our ships and attending consumer/trade/group shows.
