The Clifton Arms Hotel, Lytham is a four star hotel, we are now looking for a dedicated, reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Team.
Working with the Hotel Manager, Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Attendants you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness and service.
Duties to include:
1.Co-ordinate communication between the housekeeping departments and all other functions of the hotel.
2.Be responsible for the safekeeping of lost and found property.
3.Record lost property information in the appropriate and agreed manner.
4.Arrange the safe return of all property that is claimed.
5.Motivate your team, especially when they are under extreme pressures, by maintaining effective staff relations.
6.Monitor the department to ensure effective working practices to meet the requirements of the customer service standards.
7.Deal with any relevant telephone enquiries in an efficient and courteous manner.
8.Take full responsibility for the administration of your department, including stock control and the ordering of supplies.
1. Issue and maintaining the personal records of your staff.
2. Supervise the laundry.
3. Train, develop and assist staff where necessary in order to achieve the required standards of the hotel.
4. Provide support for your managerial colleagues and your staff throughout the working day.
5. Conduct regular meetings with your supervisory team to ensure standards are improved and maintained throughout your department's responsibility.
6. Perform, and record, regular daily random 'spot checks' to ensure the customer service standards are maintained.
7. Organise staff training to ensure the customer service standards are understood.
8. Organise and maintain cleaning charts.
9. Perform and organise general cleaning of public areas of the hotel and restaurant.
Experience of working in a mid-large hotel to 4 star standards is desirable but more so we are looking for someone who is a great team player, someone who loves all things hospitality, has an eye for detail, is organised, efficient and reliable.
