EXAM INVIGILATORS - CENTRAL LONDON SECONDARY SCHOOLS
A highly regarded secondary school in Central London (Islington / Hackney) is seeking experienced Exam Invigilators to support the upcoming summer exam season (May-June).
This is a highly organised school, with a brilliant Exam lead, who likes to work with a switched-on and motivated Exam team. The school is looking for reliable, professional invigilators with proven secondary school experience, or recent experience of exams.
Please note; applications will only be considered from candidates with prior secondary school exam invigilation experience
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS - EXAM INVIGILATOR
To be considered, you must have:
* Previous experience as an Exam Invigilator in a secondary school
* Direct experience of public exams in line with JCQ regulations
* A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong understanding of:
o Exam room regulations
o Access arrangements
o Malpractice procedures
* The ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain full exam integrity at all times
AVAILABILITY - MAY / JUNE EXAMS
* Full availability across May and June is essential
* Ability to attend morning and/or afternoon sessions
* Flexibility during peak exam periods is highly desirable
* Typical hours fall between 8:00am - 4:30pm
* Exact schedules provided in advance
THE ROLE - EXAM INVIGILATOR - You will be responsible for:
* Supervising students in line with JCQ regulations
* Always maintaining strict exam conditions
* Distributing and collecting exam papers securely
* Managing incidents or disruptions calmly and professionally
* Supporting students appropriately without compromising regulations
* Working closely with the Exams Officer and wider school team
