The role:
Maintenance Team Leader
We are seeking a Maintenance Team Leader to lead and supervise 20+ Mechanics and Technicians in scheduled maintenance, inspections, and defect rectification.
What you'll do:
* Ensure team compliance with environmental, quality, health and safety, and housekeeping standards
* Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring safety, regulatory, and company standards are met
* Collaborate with colleagues, shift managers, and support departments to achieve departmental targets
* Organize and assign tasks to meet work schedules and targets
* Manage team members according to HR policies, including disciplinary actions
* Provide coaching, performance management, and development for team members
* Improve schedules and reduce aircraft downtimes
* Provide technical leadership during maintenance tasks
* Sign off work upon completion within your scope of approval
* Maintain effective communication within the organization
* Drive departmental productivity and cost efficiency through process improvements

Your experience:
* UK CAA Pt66 B licence
* At least 3 years of aircraft heavy maintenance experience
* Authorization for Base Maintenance on various aircraft types
* Experience leading teams in aircraft maintenance
Salary:
£72,105 per year plus shift allowance of £4,163 (4x4 Days) or £8,741 (4x4 Nights)
