Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience and proficient computer skills to support daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient administrative processes, providing exceptional support to staff and clients alike.

Responsibilities

* Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
* Organise and maintain files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats
* Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable
* Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and calendar management for team members
* Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
* Support invoicing, billing, and financial record keeping using QuickBooks or similar programmes
* Handle general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents
* Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times

Skills

* Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
* Strong typing skills with high accuracy for data entry tasks
* Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
* Good telephone etiquette and professional communication skills
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Demonstrated clerical experience supporting office operations effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £25,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
