3. Successful completion of PCE-CfD training will lead to band 7
We also invite potential applicants who already possess this qualification to apply. Applicants who have already successfully completed the PCE-CfD training will start at band 7.
Please only apply if you can meet these minimum standards of training and professional registration. All registrations will be cross-checked at the shortlisting stage.
To provide a comprehensive assessment and therapeutic service for adult patients with common mental health problems referred to the IAPT SABP service, based on sound, evidence-based psychological principles, working within the context of primary care services.

You will treat common mental health problems, including mood and adjustment disorders, and other issues not requiring multidisciplinary specialist mental health services.
You should be able to decide on the suitability of new referrals, adhering to departmental referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients to relevant services or back to the referral agent as necessary. You will also assess risk for patients and others and take appropriate action when needed.
