About the role
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with autism? Are you patient, empathetic, and committed to providing a supportive learning environment? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Teaching Assistant team, where you will work closely with a secondary school student with autism to help them succeed academically and socially.
You will provide one-on-one support and assistance to a student with autism in various classroom settings and assist the student in understanding and completing classroom assignments and tasks.
This role is to start ASAP and will be for the full academic year.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Secondary school you will:
1. Have experience working with secondary age children
2. Hold a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification or equivalent
3. Have excellent behaviour management skills
4. Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required

Salary
£12 to £13 per hour
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
