Personal Assistant required for a young man with a diagnosis of autism, associated learning disabilities, verbal dyspraxia, arthritis and continence difficulties and reoccurring migraines.
Seeking a Personal Assistant who is able to support him to engage in social opportunities and support him in the home when he is unwell with fatigue, arthritis, migraine etc. The hours are 8 per week which could be 1 full day or 2 half days. There will be extra hours available for holiday and sickness cover, flexibility is required.
You will be required to support with basic personal care needs. A male PA is preferred.
Ideally looking for a worker who has some experience working with children/adults with additional needs.
Must be a car driver to take him out mileage will be paid.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.

The Direct Payments Support Service is an in-house service provided by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. Some travel across East Riding of Yorkshire may be required, applicants must be able to transport themselves.
