The Role:

As a Trainee Teacher, you will embark on a rewarding journey, learning from experienced professionals and contributing to the delivery of high:quality education to our students. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to build a career in SEN education, with a particular focus on applied behaviour analysis.

Working under the guidance of Qualified Teachers and the Head of Education, you will:

Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programmes.

Support students in achieving their academic, social, and communication goals.
*

Implement strategies based on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviours.
*

Contribute to the development and implementation of Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling (CABAS) teaching methodologies, ensuring data:driven instruction and continuous progress monitoring.
*

Create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment.
*

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and other support staff.
*

Contribute to student assessments and progress reports.
*

Participate in regular training and professional development sessions.

What we are looking for:

*

A minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ideally within a school or educational setting.
*

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to our location and the need to support potential off:site activities.
*

A genuine passion for working with children and young people with autism.
*

An understanding of, or a strong willingness to learn, about Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and CABAS teaching methodologies.
*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*

Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team.

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
