Title: Senior Planning Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Planner to join a leading main contractor on a major project in Preston. The role is site‑based and you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and driving the construction programme using Primavera P6, ensuring project milestones, progress, and performance are maintained throughout the lifecycle of the scheme.
Responsibilities
* Oversee, manage, and drive the construction programme using Primavera P6.
* Ensure project milestones, progress, and performance are maintained.
* Work closely with project delivery teams, commercial teams, and stakeholders to achieve successful programme control on a live major project.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Senior Planner within a main contracting environment.
* Strong site‑based construction planning experience on major projects.
* Advanced Primavera P6 expertise.
* Excellent NEC contract knowledge and understanding.
* Strong programme management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced live project environment.
* Immediate availability.
