This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to leave your mark on history as a Carbon Fibre Technician About the Role: As a Carbon Fibre Technician, you will be responsible for precision fitting, alignment, and final finishing of prefabricated carbon fibre body panels onto custom-engineered chassis. Your role is vital in preparing these vehicles for the next stages in their journey—from carbon construction through to the paint department—by ensuring structural accuracy and flawless surfaces. You will align, bond, install, and fit panels, presenting them to the quality team for final buy-off, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, inspect, and fit pre-cured carbon fibre panels, ensuring precise alignment, gapping and flushness to standards exceeding OEM. Carry out dry-fit, shimming, sanding, and minor adjustments to achieve perfect bodyline flow and ultra-tight tolerances. Prepare surfaces and apply structural adhesives (including 3M DP490) for bonding panels, reinforcements, and mounting points. Install exterior hardware, windows, seals, lights, and trim, ensuring correct fit and minimal stress on composite components. Work closely with Paint and Final Assembly teams to support seamless progression through build stages. Interpret engineering drawings, build manuals and CAD references to guide accurate panel fitment. Operate precision measuring equipment and specialist composite tools such as grinders, sanders, and digital gauges. Uphold exceptional attention to detail and quality control, maintaining a methodical approach to demanding fitment tolerances. Support problem-solving during build, identifying fitment issues and applying corrective adjustments where required. Who we’re looking for: Proven experience specifically working with high-end composite materials (Carbon Fibre) in a precision assembly, motorsport, aerospace, or hypercar manufacturing environment.
