Our client is seeking a HR Advisor on a 4.5-month contract, based in Birmingham with 1 day of home working per week. The role offers 32 hours, which can be worked over 4 or 5 days, and is suitable for candidates with experience in ER work and safeguarding protocols. The salary is £37,000 FTE.
This is a fast-paced position with the following responsibilities:
* Maintain effective relationships with the business and uphold high professional standards.
* Respond to and manage queries sent to the HR Inbox, escalating when necessary.
* Lead projects supporting business growth through HR input.
* Support and occasionally lead HR-owned training sessions.
* Assist with consultations and business restructuring, acting as a point of contact for change-related queries.
* Manage employee relations cases proactively, including high-risk cases across all streams.
* Coach and advise managers on employment issues, providing compliant and timely guidance.
* Handle queries regarding employment terms, ensuring processes are followed within set timeframes.
* Coordinate HR case administration, maintaining relevant databases and documentation.
* Provide ad hoc support to the wider HR team as needed.
The ideal candidate will be CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualified, with at least 3 years of experience, particularly in a generalist or ER advisory role.
