1. Competitive basic salary up to £37,000, with a realistic OTE of up to £40,000 including bonuses and overtime

Duties of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
8. Diagnosing vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
9. Conducting servicing, mechanical repairs, and routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
10. Performing MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
11. Assisting with repairs such as cambelts, clutches, and engine diagnostics
12. Maintaining detailed and clear records of work carried out and communicating test results to customers
13. Working within health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:
14. Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification in automotive repair
15. Proven experience working on multiple vehicle makes and models, including vans and fleet vehicles
16. MOT testing certification or willingness to train
17. Full UK driving licence with a clean record preferred
18. High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
19. Enthusiastic attitude towards ongoing professional development and learning
20. Ability to work efficiently within a team and support colleagues
Additional skills that are advantageous include experience with advanced diagnostics, engine rebuilds, turbo repairs, or other specialised repairs. Flexibility to participate in overtime and KPI bonus schemes is also desirable.
