1. Purpose of the Role
The Bar Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage offering at Shearbarn Holiday Park, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, maintaining operational standards, and supervising bar team members whilst on shift. This role is key in creating a welcoming and professional environment for both guests and staff.
2. Key Responsibilities
Supervise bar operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards.
Provide leadership and support to bar staff, including training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Monitor customer service levels and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Maintain compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
Lead on stock control, including ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and storage.
Manage administrative tasks such as rotas, team performance reporting, and cash handling including daily takings procedures.
Promote a positive team culture and uphold company values and policies.
Lead on events management, including internal and external liaison to ensure the successful delivery of events in our facilities.

4. Essential Skills and Experience
Proven Supervisory experience in a leadership environement
Personal Licence holder
Food Hygeine qualifications
Knowledge of PoS systems
Strong leadership and communication skills
5. Working Conditions
Shift-based role including significant levels of evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Standing for extended periods and manual handling of stock and equipment.
Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
