Salary: €60,000 - €70,000
About the Role
An established and growing technology company is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join its distributed engineering team. The company develops specialised cloud-based software used by professional organisations and is continuing to expand its platform and product capabilities.
This role is fully remote, but candidates must be based in the Munster region of Ireland due to team collaboration and occasional in-person meetups.
You will work as part of a small, agile development team building modern web applications and services. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both backend and frontend technologies and enjoys contributing to product improvements and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain modern web applications using .NET and React
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
3. Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver user-focused features
4. Contribute to front-end improvements and user interface enhancements
5. Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
6. Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
7. Support deployment and maintenance of cloud-based applications
Required Skills & Experience
8. 3-5 years of professional software development experience
9. Strong experience with .NET / C#
10. Solid experience building front-end applications with React
11. Experience building and consuming APIs
12. Strong understanding of modern software development practices (Git, CI/CD, testing)
Desirable / Nice to Have
13. Experience with UI/UX design principles
14. Cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS)
15. Experience with SQL databases
16. Familiarity with scalable cloud-based architectures
17. Experience working in a remote or distributed team
