As anActivities Co-ordinator, your responsibilities include planning and implementing activities that delight Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging Residents' social confidence. You'll develop activity programs based on Residents' hobbies and involve the care team, always with kindness.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally with a background in developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to get along with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. Effective time management and considerate communication are also important.
This is a part-time role, requiring both weekday and weekend shifts, including day and evening hours.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond. All colleagues will receive safeguarding training and additional role-specific training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
