Responsibilities
* To work with the young people according to the individuals needs, providing personal care, encouragement and a high standard of care as planned and directed.
* To assist in the co-ordination of activities within the Unit and ensure that they are well managed and produce safe and consistent care.
* To be involved in and organise activities which are in the best interests and meet the needs of those looked after.
* Training & Development.
* Administration and report writing.
* Medication administration.
* Ensure security of the house, including contents, confidential records, cash, keys, furniture and equipment, residents’ clothing and possessions.
* To assist management in attending to the health of the service users, arranging medical and dental examinations, and maintaining high standards of hygiene within the home.
