Overview
Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Fashion Digital Pattern Cutting. Location: City Campus, Nottingham. Employment type: Part-time (0.8 FTE) permanent. Salary: Lecturer £39,162–£42,773 per annum (pro rata); Senior Lecturer £45,367–£57,418 per annum (pro rata).
Responsibilities
* Contribute to teaching provision in Fashion Design at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
* Deliver high quality teaching and learning to undergraduate and postgraduate students under direction of the Principal Lecturer.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to inspire and mentor a diverse cohort and communicate complex technical information using a variety of teaching methods.
* Engage with industry developments, maintain strong industry links, and incorporate real-world insights into teaching practice.
* Support course development and evolution to advance the department’s focus on digital craft, critical sustainability, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in teaching at higher education level or significant industry experience is required.
* Willingness to engage with industry developments and incorporate real-world insights into teaching practice.

* 30–35 days annual leave per year plus statutory holidays; pension and other benefits as applicable.
