Acoustic Logging Technician

Up to £28,000 per annum DOE (plus overtime and benefits)
Bridgestone Group are pleased to be working with a leading provider of water network services who are looking for Acoustic Logging Technicians to join their growing Water Operations team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start or progress a career in the water industry, with full training, mentoring, and development provided.
As an Acoustic Logging Technician, you’ll play an important role in leakage detection by deploying and collecting acoustic loggers across the water distribution network. Your work will help identify potential leakage points and support operational teams in reducing water loss.
Key Duties
* Daily deployment and collection of acoustic logging equipment across the water network
* Reading plans, schematics, and asset drawings to identify optimal deployment points
* Analysing data from leakage zones to identify suitable assets for monitoring
* Planning efficient routes across the Yeovil area and surrounding regions
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately, including time sheets and logging records
* Maintaining high standards of customer service while representing the business
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
* Health & Safety–focused with a responsible and professional attitude
* Someone who enjoys outdoor work in all weather conditions
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Self-motivated and driven to achieve daily targets
* Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
* Able to read plans and schematics
* Full UK driving licence required
* Good geographical knowledge of Yeovil and surrounding areas is an advantage
