Nurture Teacher Support

Wigan | Salford | East Lancashire | West Lancashire | Merseyside
QTS – EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3 & KS4
£26–£30 per hour (PAYE) | Flexible Hours | Immediate Start

Are you feeling burnt out in mainstream education?
Do you want to teach in a way that prioritises relationships, wellbeing and emotional safety?

We are seeking compassionate, reflective QTS teachers to join our team as Nurture Teacher Support, delivering personalised 1:1 teaching for pupils currently outside mainstream education.

This is a role rooted in connection first, curriculum second.

Teaching takes place in public, LEA-approved community spaces such as libraries and approved venues, providing calm, structured environments where children can begin to feel safe, regulated and ready to learn again.

Our Approach

We believe children thrive when they feel:

*

Safe

*

Understood

*

Valued

*

Regulated

As a Nurture Teacher Support, you will use trauma-informed, relationship-led practice to help pupils rebuild trust in education, develop emotional resilience, and re-engage with learning at their own pace.

This is not about rushing content — it’s about restoring confidence and creating sustainable progress.

Your Role

*

Deliver personalised 1:1 sessions tailored to individual needs

*

Support emotional regulation alongside academic learning

*

Build trusting, consistent relationships

*

Create calm, predictable and nurturing learning routines

*

Work collaboratively with families, schools and professionals

*

Adapt learning to meet SEND, SEMH or EBSA needs

Why Join Us?

*

Flexible hours to support your own wellbeing

*

Competitive pay: £26–£30 per hour (PAYE)

*

Immediate start available

*

Meaningful, low-pressure teaching

*

Ongoing CPD in trauma-informed and nurture-based practice

*

Peer support and reflective supervision

*

A values-led team that prioritises wellbeing — for pupils and staff

About You

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

*

Experience in EYFS, Primary or Secondary (KS1–KS4)

*

Skilled in supporting pupils with additional needs

*

Patient, empathetic and emotionally attuned

*

Passionate about relational practice and inclusive education

This Role Is Ideal For

*

Teachers seeking a more balanced and purposeful way to work

*

Educators who believe behaviour is communication

*

Early Career Teachers wanting meaningful 1:1 experience

*

Experienced teachers ready to step away from classroom pressures

*

Part-time or returning teachers

If you want to teach in a way that truly centres the child — emotionally, socially and academically — and be part of a team that believes nurture is the foundation of learning, we would love to hear from you.

Because when children feel safe, they learn. 🌱
