Our client is currently seeking a Highway Maintenance Engineer on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering Highway Infrastructure projects for maintenance and improvement schemes
Project management with a deep understanding of NEC4
Preparing tender documents, including design drawings, BOQs, specifications, Contract Data (NEC), and related project documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant design guides, codes, and standards
Supervising site works, including conducting site surveys and levelling
Adhering to Health and Safety standards, including CDM regulations
Providing specialist advice on highway design and maintenance queries
Presenting technical information clearly through strong written and verbal communication
Job Requirements:
Experience in delivering highway infrastructure projects
Strong project management skills with an understanding of NEC4
Ability to prepare comprehensive tender documents
Good understanding of relevant design guidelines, codes, and standards
Proficiency in site supervision and conducting site surveys
Knowledge of Health and Safety standards, particularly CDM regulations
Capability to provide expert advice on highway design and maintenance
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to present technical data
