The Role:
We are searching for a forward-thinking, efficiency-driven individual to lead and optimise our purchasing and pricing processes. This role is not just about executing tasks—it's about transforming them. We want someone who is passionate about identifying bottlenecks, implementing streamlined processes, and driving automation where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of purchasing processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
* Analyse and optimise our pricing procedures to enhance accuracy and speed.
* Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure favorable terms.
* Work as part of our admin team to ensure seamless integration of improvements.
* Maintain accurate records and schedules to track orders and deadlines.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven Experience in improving process efficiency in purchasing and pricing roles.
* Advanced Excel Skills including macros, automation, and data analysis.
* Knowledge of MRP/ERP Systems (desirable but not essential).
* Process Engineering Mindset: Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
* Negotiation and Communication Skills: Confident in negotiating with suppliers and maintaining professional relationships.
* Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities and track important deadlines.
* Engineering or Manufacturing Knowledge is advantageous but not compulsory.
