Temporary Office Administrator
Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Contract: Temporary – 3 months
Pay Rate: Up to £13 per hour
The Role
We are looking for a Temporary Office Administrator to provide administrative support to the Purchasing team at a busy office in Stourport-on-Severn. This is a 3-month temporary assignment, ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the purchasing process, helping the team maintain smooth operations and accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Purchasing team
* Process purchase orders and maintain records of orders, deliveries, and suppliers
* Maintain and update supplier and product databases
* Assist with invoice processing and matching purchase orders to invoices
* Manage correspondence with suppliers, including emails and phone queries
* Filing, scanning, and organising purchasing and office documents
* Assist with reporting and tracking orders, stock, and deliveries
* Support the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in office administration, preferably in a purchasing or procurement environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
* Available to commit to the full 3-month temporary assignment
