Job Description: Regenerative Systems Analyst
Location: Flexible hybrid (remote with occasional travel across Scotland)
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Salary: £35,000–£48,000 (dependent on experience)
Role Overview
The Regenerative Systems Analyst will play a central role in turning raw operational, ecological, and infrastructure data into clear insights that drive decision-making and impact across The Future Forest Company.
Working closely with the COO and Natural Capital team, this role will translate field data into reports, dashboards, and summaries used across operations, compliance, storytelling, and funding. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with strong communication skills and a knack for making the complex clear and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
Data Translation & Reporting
* Create clear reports, dashboards, and summaries from operational and ecological data.
* Present information in formats suitable for internal stakeholders, funders, and partners.
* Develop tools and templates that help teams communicate progress consistently.
System & Process Improvement
* Improve how data is collected, stored, and used across the organisation
* Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement human-centred improvements
* Help reduce reporting time through digital tools and smarter systems
Cross-Team Collaboration
* Work with the COO, Natural Capital team, Rangers, and Estate Managers to understand data needs
* Ensure outputs are timely, accurate, and tailored to different audiences
* Provide feedback to improve field data quality and overall awareness
Organisational Insight
* Support compliance, funding, and marketing outputs with structured data insight
* Help shape narratives that communicate the impact of nature restoration projects
* Contribute to internal clarity by providing well-timed intelligence for decision-making
Essential Skills & Experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High data literacy with experience using spreadsheets, dashboards, and digital tools
* Ability to translate technical data into clear, structured outputs
* Confident using tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Notion, ArcGIS
* Strong collaborator, able to work across functions with ease
* Clear interest in nature restoration and environmental impact
