We are excited to introduce a Roster Clerk into our Ebbsfleet Team. Please note: This is a 12-month secondment / Fixed Term Contract.
The role involves producing cost-effective and efficient rosters for nominated employees, ensuring compliance with operational standards, rostering principles, and competency requirements. The Roster Clerk will also monitor the competency database to manage future safety-critical competency expiries.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Compile and publish rosters using the Corporate Rostering Tool in accordance with National Rostering Principles, company policies, and standards.
2. Prepare rosters for employees on weekly/daily duties, covering sickness, leave, training, briefings, and special arrangements. Liaise with managers to crosscheck roster data.
3. Manage short-notice roster changes, liaising with affected employees and managers, including verbal confirmations. Resolve queries related to roster issues.
4. Maintain leave records and contribute to annual leave rosters.
5. Arrange medical examinations, interviews, and training sessions.
6. Manage safety-critical competence expiries, training plans, courses, and briefings.
7. Monitor competency data to ensure roster shifts are covered and no expiries occur.
8. Perform pre- and post-payroll checks to validate roster data and submit late changes.
9. Analyze fatigue data and report issues to line managers.
10. Support reporting requirements with relevant data and information.
Job Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

4. Experience in data analysis and report generation.
5. Understanding of conditions of service related to rostering.
6. Familiarity with roster systems.

8. Experience working in a team, including virtual team engagement.
9. Understanding of pay arrangements for rostered staff.
