Job Title: Teacher of Geography

Location: East Birmingham (B35)

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: £140 - £230 per day (dependant on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive and well-renowned Secondary School based in East Birmingham. The school has a positive culture and is looking for an Teacher of Geography who can make a real impact across the curriculum.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Teacher of Geography on a long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Teacher of Geography will be responsible for full teaching duties across KS3 and KS4, including planning, preparation, marking and delivering high-quality lessons.

The successful Geography Teacher will have:

QTS with a Humanities specialism
Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
Strong planning and preparation skills
Excellent classroom management
A confident and engaging teaching style
A ‘can-do’ attitude and strong communication skills
