We are seeking an experienced Global Account Manager to partner with one of the world's largest financial companies headquartered in London. The role focuses on leveraging cloud and AI technologies to accelerate the customer's hyper-growth through modernization and new innovative businesses on AWS.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with the global financial client from CEO to operational level, ensuring sustained value from AWS services.
* Deliver operational excellence and drive incremental sales revenue through a long-term account plan.
* Act as the owner of the AWS relationship with the global customer, collaborating across Sales, Technical Account Management, Business Development, Solution Architecture, Customer Solutions Management, Partner Sales, and Marketing.
* Lead change initiatives, driving new business and operational excellence.
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, motivating organizations to rapidly develop digital transformation capabilities and optimize AWS usage.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting.
* Experience with financial services, payments or e-commerce.
* Bachelor's degree, or a PhD and/or experience conducting research and business on a global scale.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in cloud or account management, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and projects.
* Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced, multi-task driven environment.
* Knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as they relate to cloud computing; ability to identify opportunities for customers.
* Track record of managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams.
