Overview
UHNM’s Imaging Department is launching a brand‑new Community Diagnostics Centre (CDC) in Hanley, S‑O‑T, and we are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Imaging Department Assistants to join our expanding Community X‑ray team. This is a full‑time role, 37.5 hours per week, with the team rotating across five sites in North Staffordshire: Haywood Hospital, Leek Moorlands Hospital, Longton Cottage Hospital, Cobridge Health Centre, and Hanley CDC.
Responsibilities
* Support Diagnostic Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners across multiple sites.
* Perform data entry and manage clinical stock.
* Handle front‑desk duties and provide direct patient care.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of X‑ray rooms.
* Adapt to a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a caring environment.
* Minimum of five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
* Strong organisational and IT skills.
* Excellent communication and a patient‑centred approach.
