Retail Store Assistant
£12.56 per hour plus benefits
Reports to: Shop manager
Department: Trading
Location: Blackheath
Contract: 3 months fixed term
Working hours: Part time 15 hours per week

We’re seeking a motivated store assistant to join Cancer Research UK’s trading team. You’ll act as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK, engaging with the community, representing our brand, and showcasing the great work we do.
You’ll be surrounded by people equally dedicated to beating cancer.
What will I be doing?
* Providing excellent customer and supporter service.
* Working as part of the shop team to achieve sales and fundraising targets.
* Maintaining shop standards, including visual presentation, safeguarding, and health and safety.
* Building relationships with the community and colleagues.
* Supporting fundraising events to meet targets.
* Taking keyholder responsibilities (training provided).
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
What are you looking for?
* An understanding of great customer service.
* Experience in a busy customer service environment.
* Ability to manage workload independently.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Flexibility to work on a rota basis, respecting your outside commitments.
