We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic play and youth workers to engage and inspire children and young people across our holiday, after-school and weekend children’s and youth clubs at various locations in East Surrey and West Sussex.
YMCA Play and Youth Workers assist in the delivery of high-quality and exciting activities for a range of children and young people.
Whether you’re interested in working within Disability Services, supporting children and young people with additional needs and disabilities, with primary school aged children in the Out of School Childcare provision or young people in our Youth Work services we can offer a range of flexible full time and part time hours, which can be worked during term time or school holidays. We can offer contracted or casual hours work depending on your preference.
We have various sites across Redhill, Reigate, Dorking, Worcester Park, Leatherhead, Haywards Heath, Crawley, Horsham, Horley, Caterham, Tadworth & Merstham.
Please be aware that due to a comprehensive recruitment process, for successful candidates, it can take approximately 4-6 weeks from the offer of employment being made until you are able to start work with us.
To guarantee being ready to start work for the 2025 summer holidays, please apply by Monday 9 June. Applications after this time will still be processed but may not result in us being able to offer work at the start of the holidays.
